Loddiswell School will remain closed until Monday 5th March due to current weather conditions.
The whole school had a great morning at Bantham beach. They were shocked to see how much plastic and rubbish is washed up every day and we did our best to pick it all up!
KS1 had some exotic visitors in class on Tuesday. The children were able to pet all the animals including: skunks, snakes, tenrec’s, a bearded dragon and a black and white tegu. They all had a wonderful morning.
Year 1 & 2 joined in with Modbury Primary for a day of circus workshop fun. Bobby made a tightrope scene out of Lego!
Mrs Butler has been keeping the Eco Club busy for the last few weeks with this creation. It will be displayed in the Anchor Centre, Kingsbridge until Friday 4th December.
Class 4 had an activity packed day with the National Trust on Wednesday.
Samo from Class 1 created a picture based on the seasons of the year. It won 1st prize out of all the entries from 9 counties. Well done Samo.
MIDAS held a poster making competition about hazards on building sites. The winners, Katie, Layla, Ava and William had a private tour of the new school build and got to see the big crane working up close!
The whole school have been busy this week making paper flowers and figures for our section of the Flower Festival at Loddiswell’s Congregational Church.
Some of our Year 6 children took part in a Cardboard Boat Race in Plymouth. They built a superb boat and came 4th overall.
