On Wednesday our children had a wonderful afternoon meeting lifeguards from the RNLI. The role of a lifeguard was explained, they learnt about all the equipment that is used, the various risks on the beach and in the water and what each flag on the beach means. The lifeguards were very impressed with how much knowledge the children knew about beach safety.
